The ID isn’t registered in the cookie (and req.user)

when i try to log req.user ( in the profile page after successful login) it logs undefined.
Also, the ejs file is not using req.user provided in app.js , it uses a hardcoded value ‘sam’ which is the first user.
I wonder why ? can someone explain please

Hi aymen, the user ID is saved in req.session.passport.
you can try this
console.log(req.session.passport); below res.render(“profile”,{user:req.user});

If you’re referring to the 2 calls to req.render, I think its a typo. I did it with just one and the application worked and I was able to “check work”

For the last step, nothing loads in the browser and I can’t input the username and password. When I click ‘Check Work’, I get a green tick and I’m able to move on. I get this problem a lot, anyone else have this problem?
