I hope this content is elaborated upon in future lessons. I learned very little from this particular exercise. Maybe I am jumping the gun a little bit, as I have not seen what is to come in the next lessons, but I think most sections in the ‘Node.js Essentials’ lesson are extremely under thought. Asking you to use things you’ve never been introduced to (without a proper explanation of what they are) and getting you to do one example, is not teaching. :pensive:

I also hope this doesn’t come off as rude, but I think it is important to give feedback on courses that some people (including myself) are paying for.

Not explained very well, I still dont understand what a poll phase or event loop is. also whats the difference between

setImmediate(()=>{
  console.log('I got called right away!')
})

and

console.log('I got called right away!')

No updates to this content yet - I was left wondering why did I learn this.
