I came across a rather annoying bug in this. If you do emails--;, emails -= 1; or emails += -1; (this was rather obvious to me as I know python, java etc. (it also showed ++ in the hint)) in your while loop instead of the emails = emails -1; the step isn’t completed despite doing what was asked in a MORE EFFICIENT way.

This is surprising since this is exactly what i’ve done and it worked like a charm. Could you post your code so we can see what you were doing please?

using System;

namespace WhileLoop
{
  class Program
  {
    static void Main(string[] args)
    {
      int emails = 20;

      while (emails > 0)
      {
        emails--;
        Console.WriteLine($"we are deleting emails and there is still {emails} left.");
      }
          Console.WriteLine("INBOX ZERO ACHIEVED!");

    }
  }
}

Despite it marking as complete, the console output seems to be broken in this module.

Kind of annoyed. This segment introduces the Logical negation operator ! without any kind of explanation. Expects us just to type it into the web page and just go along with it. If I wanted that kind of tutorial I would go to YouTube.

Nothing wrong with my code, but its throwing an error saying my while loop is incorrectly formatted. I checked the diff and its nitpicking the number of Console.WriteLine() calls i think…

using System; namespace WhileLoop { class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { int emails = 20; while(emails > 0) { Console.WriteLine($"You still have {emails} emails. We will delete one now..."); emails--; Console.WriteLine($"{emails} remain."); } Console.WriteLine("INBOX IS EMPTY!"); } } }
