Here is my code:

threes_and_fives = [x for x in range(1, 16) if x % 3 == 0 or x % 5 == 0] print (threes_and_fives)

is it possible to run the if statement before the for
threes_and_fives = [if x % 3 == 0 or x % 5 == 0 x for x in range(1, 16)]

Did you try it? What error did you get, “SyntaxError: invalid syntax”?

When written that way the if statement requires a colon. That would mean it is not allowed in that position in front of the placeholder variable.

Yes i got an invalid syntax
Thank you
