Why does return not work in my program code as follows:
a = [0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13]
for i in a:
if i%2==0:
return i

have you tried “print” instead of “return”? Your code works fine if you used “print” in place of “return”

y does it print the number

Is it possible to have the code return nothing if % 2 == 0 returns false?

in C++ its possible to have a code that returns “false” do nothing and go to the next block of python default does this is the example code however is it possible to show its doing this with with a small chunk of code?

Example

for numbers in a:

if numbers % 2 == 0:
print numbers
else:
# do nothing here
