Hey everyone! I thought it was so cool to be able to make a 3D sphere look-alike using only a for loop in p5.js! So I tried to replicate the given example code

function setup() { createCanvas(400, 400); background(200); } function draw() { background(220); for(let i = 0; i < 255; i++){ fill(i); circle(width/2, height/2, 255-i); } }

It always only renders a black circle in a grey canvas… I tried different code editors, different browsers but to no avail. WHY??

Hello,

You need to add noStroke() to your code :slightly_smiling_face:
Otherwise your shape will be filled with the color of the stroke.
The code below should work:-

function setup() {
createCanvas(400, 400);
background(200);
}

function draw() {
for(let i = 0; i < 255; i++){
noStroke();
fill(i);
circle(width/2, height/2, 255-i);
}
}
