On task 7, I have written this:

SELECT DISTINCT major_1 as major
FROM college
UNION ALL
SELECT DISTINCT major_2 as major
FROM college
WHERE major_2 IS NOT NULL;

I know it’s wrong because I’m getting two rows for each major - each major is repeated. However, I don’t know how to fix it and I also can’t see the solution - the page just remains on loading for ages and ages. Can anyone explain what I’m doing wrong.

Apparently there should be another value at the end of each SELECT statement.

I.e. SELECT DISTINCT major_1 AS major, ____

But I can’t think what it should be.

UPDATE: I took out the ‘ALL’ from UNION ALL and it seems to have worked but I still can’t move on to the next exercise.
