Weird bug in this exercise - doesn’t prevent you from solving it but, it looks like there’s an issue with the UN Date validation logic:

The Razor code seems to make sense though - wonder if it’s a conflict with frontend styling? It’s not displayed according to the format specified, but it does seem to be getting validated again the format side, I’m assuming that’s what’s causing the error:

Just because i am not wasting my time using single line comments i am declined to proceed until i use single line comments?

Seriously this ASP.NET course is full of bugs. It is not first time my code is identical, maybe has one more space before or after (Not breaking the code obviously) and your system does not allow me to continue and forces me to copy your pre-written code.

Not even to mention this “Date” invalid bug is present in the course for 2 years and you did not fix it

This is rejected and prevents me from continuing (but is actually completely valid):

      <select asp-items="Model.Continents" asp-for="Country.ContinentID" class="form-control"></select>

This is expected:

      <select asp-for="Country.ContinentID" asp-items="Model.Continents" class="form-control" ></select>

I don’t want to have to use “Show hint” just to copy-paste your code which is functionally identical to mine.
