asp-net-data-edit-markup-edit point 2:

Add some flex <div> tags to display the row members. The side by side <label> and <input> pair are used with flexbox styling. All inputs and the submit button live inside a form so they post back as a unit.

And just how is the student supposed to know the exact style this exercise expects him/her to type? No mention is made where to find this information.

The exercise expects this, exactly this, and nothing but this:

<form method="post">
  <div class="form-group d-flex">
    <label asp-for="Continent.ID" class="p-2 text-right" style="flex:0 0 15%"></label>
    <input asp-for="Continent.ID" class="form-control" style="flex:1 0 auto;width:auto" />
  </div>
</form>

The Bootstrap documentation makes no mention of either the form-group nor the d-flex styles.

The only solution is to use “Hint”, but doing that teaches absolutely nothing.

We didn’t pay to come here and learn how to copy-paste ready solutions.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the sentiment here too… the “Data Edits” lesson was significantly harder to follow than the other ASP.NET lessons in my skillpath. The error in the “browser window” part of the environment didn’t help either.
