Instruction:
In the styles.css file, find the selectors .input-error and change the border-color property value from #F2F3F5 to #FC472E .

After doing this, I get an error saying that it expected #FC472E but got ‘#AD6XXX’ , ‘#AD6XXX’ , ‘#AD6XXX’ , ‘#AD6XXX

there were different numbers in place of the X’s that I don’t remember, but there were no matching text for ‘AD6’ on either the index.html or styles.css.

I had the same issue, and same error message, and couldn’t resolve it by refreshing. Submitted a bug report.

It’s worth noting that if you hit the ‘Get Unstuck’ button in the bottom right of the exercise you can:

  1. Report the bug to Codecademy
  2. Click on the ‘get solution’ option and then you can move past this one on to the next exercise

The bug still present. Had to press “Get Solution” to move forward.
