What should I do if, after 10 minutes, it’s still running the code, trying to generate the right hash? Maybe my computer isn’t very powerful. Is there a way to check the code without running it so long?

Shouldn’t the correct while loop be:

while (proof[:difficulty] != '0' * difficulty):

Instead of:

while (proof[:2] != '0' * difficulty):

The second solution doesn’t allow you to change the difficulty variable without breaking the script. :confused:
