Hi I’m doing the exercise and I’m trying to view the local host as the exercise instructs but each time I click on the link I get an error page from chrome saying: "This site can’t be reached

localhost refused to connect.

Try:

ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED"

I’ve tried clearing my history, cache and even removing my firewalls to see if it would make a difference but it hasn’t. Would really appreciate it if someone had any ideas how to fix this.

Hi, I am also doing this exercise. I don’t think you would be able to reach the site in your browser as I guess it is only accessible on the codecademy local server. So I tried to view it in the url page on the exercise which allowed me to pass the exercises. The problem is that I didnt see ‘Hello world!’ or ‘Reporter Bio’ displayed. If anyone can explain why, that would be helpful!

I’m also finding exactly the same issue. Visit /home in the browser window and there is no “Hello World!”, despite my code being apparently correct.
OK, got it to work by going back to the previous stage and then coming back to this section and the URLs worked.
Someone needs to fix this
