This means that smush(1,2,3) will result in a type error because [2,3] is not an array of strings.

But what about 1? Why is 1 not included in the array?

Becasue the Smush() function takes two argument, and one is an array. So the 1 goes for the first argument which is “firstString”, and then the [2,3] is for the “…otherStrings”. This is how I interpret it!

I tried to copy this to VScode

function smush(firstString, …otherStrings){
let output = firstString;
for(let i = 0; i < otherStrings.length; i++){
output = output.concat(otherStrings[i]);
}
return output;
}

smush(‘a’,‘h’,‘h’,‘H’,‘H’,‘H’,‘!’,‘!’);

But why do when I console.log(smush), it shows λ?
I tried to console.log the value of output just right before “return output” and it works just fine. Not ouside of function tho.

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot this is return value, so in order to properly log you need to console.log(smush(“param”))
