Sorry to say this but I feel this course is not at all challenging (and not easy by any means!)
This exercise literally had us remove a single word and pair of brackets from the whole code and lets us proceed.
This isn’t how teaching/learning should be done. Some other courses I’ve seen on Codecademy really make you try writing code and practice yourself. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE improve this course. C# is a lovely language and this course does it no justice at all… :frowning:

I feel the same. I got my boss to pay me Codecademy Pro for learning C# but this course… multiple errors in the explanations, misleading statements, no real challenges other than understanding what the course wants from me. I’m really disapointed with this course… I’m glad I know other languages well enough to see through the concepts even with those explanations…

I would love to know if there are other cases in C# when I don’t need to explicitly define the type of a variable.

I’m fresh to coding and going thru these lectures. I’m not grasping too much in this lesson either. I’m struggling to understand, its not broken down to small enough incraments to truly understand, what they are trying to teach. Just my Opinion ( No coding experience here)
