I just started the HTML and CSS exercises but I have run into this problem in previous exercises where the exercise that the course was instructing me to do was already done. any suggestions on how to fix it?

I actually ran into this as well, it may have on the first few challenges of the course html, or css I believe things like:
write <!DOCTYPE html> was prewritten
This may be do to the fact that I had previously completed the original course a year ago, and upon returning to the refreshed curriculum it recognized me

I had the same thing and then I clicked next thinking that it would fix the problem and the instructions told me to “Add an empty < head > element between the opening and closing tags,” which was already done in the code editor
