EXERCISE 19.MATH

It shows that"make sure that if/else statement results to true" but the result is shown as "true"

Replace this line with your code.
if ("Jon".length * 2 / (2+1) ===2)
{
    console.log("True");
}
else{
    console.log("Error Error Error");
}

#2

Did you change more than just the condition?

#3

You need to keep the original string that was in the if console.log, if that makes sense
this is my code:

if ("Jon".length * 2 / (2+1) === 2 )
{
console.log("The answer makes sense!");
}
else{
console.log("Error Error Error");
}

#4

Hello guys,
I used both of your codes and it doesn't work

#5

What you typed didnt work im so confused

#6

A post was split to a new topic: I'm truly stuck on lesson 19

#8

gigaplayer45178 presented a code that worked. Not sure why it worked but it did.
First delete the line of code on line one and just use the if/else as written below.

if (2+1/2*"Jon".length)
{
console.log("The answer makes sense!");
}
else
{
console.log("Error Error Error");
}

This worked for me.

#9

For some reason, copying and pasting your solution worked, but adjusting what I had to begin with to match it exactly didn't

#10

I know the solution is weird.
