Exercise 23

#1

Hello Everyone:

I am on exercise 23 "More substring practice" I entered the substring below:
console.log("Javascript".January(0,3));
console.log("Javascript".Melbourne is great(0,12));
console.log("Javascript".hamburgers(3,10));

and I receive an error msg. below:

It looks like 'great' on line 5 was not defined before it was used. This means either you need to define it, 'great' is spelled incorrectly or you need quotes around 'great'.

can someone help me

You aren't supposed to put "Javascript" in this level, but something like:

console.log("January".substring(0,3));

It's for substring practice, so what you have to do is take out "Javascript" and change January, Melbourne is great, and hamburgers into strings, and put the .substring() function with it.:smiley:
