blog post

The blog post that is referred to when you try to do the original JavaScript course states that yesterday there should have been a “Re-release of Learn JavaScript with updated ES6+ syntax and brand new content” yesterday or “Wednesday August 16th, 2017”. When is this release to be expected?

Hi @ellertsmari,

I’m just another user here, not at all related to the CC team. My guess is that they are releasing those by stages, and randomly.

if you visit this link:
https://www.codecademy.com/learn/all

You will notice at the bottom of the page, there are a number of new JS track ES6 syntax listed (For me):
Learn JavaScript: Introduction
Learn JavaScript: Control Flow

and I’ve seen a few links posted in the forum about:
Learn JavaScript: Function and so on.

Sadly I didn’t save those links.

Maybe by doing this way, the system won’t get too overwhelmed (my guess).

I’ve been waiting for those new JS course too. :muscle:
Happy Coding, cheers!

Thank you for your answer!

That makes sense, these new tracks look very nice. It is, tough, a bit confusing that there is a track called “Learn JavaScript” with chapters called “Introduction” and “Control Flow” at the same time as this is there…

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the course
