Error when trying to Save 3. Writing Your First 'For' Loop

#1

Hello,

everytime when I'm trying to save my solution for this chapter:

for ($i = 10; $i < 101; $i = $i + 10) {
echo $i;
}

(this should be right I think) - I get an error that says
"Something went wrong :frowning:
Click Close to try again or refresh the page."
And no matter what I do I get this error time after time and cannot safe my solution.

Could you maybe help?

Thanks in advance
Best
Julia

I just had the same problem, i opened the lesson in a new browser, i pressed "reset code" right next to the submit button. Then i refreshed the lesson and pasted this code:

for($i=10;$i<=100;$i=$i + 10) {
echo $i;
}

it then finally worked :slightly_smiling:

I'm having this issue as well. The above solution did not work for me, just had different results.

In chrome the save and submit turns into a cog that spins forever,
in firefox it turns in to a blue buttin with no text or cog and I cant do anything.

please help. I was 36% of the way through this course and now I can't finish it :cry:

I tried using other browsers, that didn't work for me either.

I logged out, logged back in, redid the code and it worked

Hopefully this helps

  <head>
    <title>Solo For Loop!</title>
  </head>
  <body>
    <p>
      <?php

      for ($i = 10; $i < 101; $i = $i + 10){
          echo $i;
      }
      ?>

Don't give up, the PHP lessons have quite a number of bugs. Sometimes just shutting down your browser and restarting can work. I started this course some months back and stopped because of the bugs. Now am redoing it and passed the 50% mark and I'm not stopping
