#2

this problem seems to be Browser specific_

which Browser are you using ?

#3

google chrome i tried it many times but this code is not running.

#4

i am using the google chrome browser..

#5

@digitalsurfer82135, @shankarsuman
Have a look at the google search results in the knowledge-base of =stackoverflow.com=
text-decoration: none; chrome problem site:stackoverflow.com

#6

Try using firefox, I switched to firefox leaving the code how it was and iit let me go to the next stage

#7

yeah thanks it did worked..

#8

I am a chrome user and i am also experiencing this error

#9

@dustinj1995

Try Firefox, Internet Explorer or Edge

#10

You have to use Firefox, Internet explorer or Edge

#11

Is there any way to do this exercise on a chromebook? Im relatively sure Chrome OS and firefox dont like each other.

#12

The stack overflow discussion isn't relevant; in this case, it's clear that text-decoration: none IS being rendered correctly by Chrome, but Codecademy's detectors are not. I don't know if this is a difference in the way the DOM is generated and the regexes that Codecademy is using to pick this out, and it'd be good to get some official response from Codecademy on this.

#13

Hey! same error here. Seems to be a Codecadamy issue.

#14

Having the same issue in this module as well as other places in the codecademy site.

#15

I am having the same issue, I have put the code in:thumbsdown:
div {
height: 50px;
width: 120px;
border-color: #6495ED;
background-color: #BCD2EE;
border-radius: 5px;
margin: auto;
text-align: center;

}

div a {
text-decoration: none;
}

it keeps saying that my text-decoration: none; hasn't been put in?

According to other forum posts, it looks like a Chrome issue, I have done another 2 courses on Chrome with no issues, after continuing to get the error, on the other courses, it gave me the option to be given the code, not here though?

It needs looking into by CodeAcademy?

Problem with Swinging from branch to branch ! What can i do?
#16

I have done another 2 courses on Chrome with no issues

This problem seems specific to this particular course, which is why it is recommended to use another browser, at least for this course. Firefox works nicely.
