Hey everyone! I’m working on the Off-Platform Project: Reggie’s Linear Regression project for the Learn Python 3 course. I have successfully installed the latest stable version of Python3 and installed miniconda. I’m following the directions in this article as well as the video in this article and am getting the following error when trying to install Jupyter by using the following command:
conda install jupyter
(base) knonemaker@C02FJ0CJML87 python % conda install jupyter Collecting package metadata (current_repodata.json): failed CondaHTTPError: HTTP 000 CONNECTION FAILED for url <https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/main/osx-64/current_repodata.json> Elapsed: - An HTTP error occurred when trying to retrieve this URL. HTTP errors are often intermittent, and a simple retry will get you on your way. If your current network has https://www.anaconda.com blocked, please file a support request with your network engineering team. 'https://repo.anaconda.com/pkgs/main/osx-64'
I found one similar post on our forums which you can find here.
The suggestion was to keep trying or install with pip. However, both articles do not recommend doing this. I’m hoping someone else knows how I can resolve this error?
