Ending up Pyg latin

#1

What is wrong with this code. I do not understand this at all. Could you give me the answer so that I can compare it to mine. Thanks.

pyg = 'ay'

original = raw_input('Enter a word:')

if len(original) > 0 and original.isalpha():
word= original.lower()
first=word[0]
new_word=word+first+pyg
[0:len(new_word)]
print original
else:
print 'empty'

Well just at a first glance, your slice is wrong. And your slice should be equal to something!
