$ ( document ) ready ( function () {
     Var $ target = $ ('ol li: nth-child (4)');
    $ Target.fadeOut ('fast');
});

encuentro mi error ¡Uy! Probá otra vez. ¿Creaste la variable '$objetivo' en la línea 3?

3 variable target

There should be no white space after $ (the alias for jQuery).

Note also the missing dot on ready.

$(document).ready(function() {

});

We must not capitalize JavaScript reserved words that are not classes.

    var $target =  ...

Should be, $target.

The colon belongs with the pseudo-class. Since we want to target the LI, not its children, the two selectors need to be married (no space between).

Here is the corrected code:

$(document).ready(function() {
    var $target = $('ol li:nth-child(4)');
    $target.fadeOut('fast');
});
