Eclipse as an IDE for the Python Code Academy Course?

I am woking on a MacBook. I don’t have access to terminal as I don’t own the computer i am working on, I only use it through my job. I have Eclipse installed and I have installed the Python plugin. Is that sufficient for the course? I am currently in the lesson how to use Jupyter Notebooks. I will eventually be teaching a course where my class will also not have access to the terminal. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, as long as your IDE (in this case, Eclipse) can run Python Programs, it is enough. However, I recommend other Python IDE like PyCharm, Spyder or Jupyter

Great suggestions given above you can also explore vscode or sublime . They are light weight editors with an integrated terminal. You can install some plugins that are useful for python development
