Dumb question, but how do make an "empty print statement"

https://www.codecademy.com/courses/learn-python-3/lessons/intro-to-functions/exercises/review?action=resume_content_item

I’m unfortunately stuck on step 1 thanks to this. The solution bypasses the whole process entirely.

in in the hint:

print()

but you could put anything, the point is, the body of your function can’t be completely empty, then python throws an error.

Thank you for your response. If that was that was the hint, could you point me in the right direction in where I messed up?:

def repeat_stuff(stuff, num_repeats)
  print()

you miss a colon (:) at the end of your function definition.

You just saved my sanity. THANKS! :smiley:

There is no such thing as a dumb question. In here you can ask anything code related whilst not getting frowned upon.

Happy coding!
