My daughter is interested in learning code as her DoE skill, does any one know if this is acceptable and who could complete her assessors report?
Just looked it up. From the FAQ’s coding/programming are definitely acceptable.
It would also be pretty unique. Most people play an instrument or something else pretty ‘vanilla’. Not only that, but working on a project is a great way to learn. I think It would be a fantastic idea.
I’d try and encourage her every step of the way. Young girls have a lot of ‘soft barriers’ going into the tech word. Help her overcome those obstacles every chance you can get.
Thanks fight_dragons for the support, do you know if there is a moderator or some kind of mentor who can act as an assessor?
