Doesn't set opacity to 1

It's not working and I don't see my mistake. It says, that I didn't set the opacity to 1 but I think I did. Does anyone see the problem?

$(document).ready(function() {
$('div').mouseenter(function() {
$('div').fadeTo('fast', 1);

It looks like you didn’t set your div’s opacity to one

It means to one second. If you set it to one it means one mil-second. So you need to set it to 100

If you look in the Jquery API documentation the 1 sets opacity - no question.
It doesn't work though. But thanks anyway!

I found that - but still don't see the solution. Using a float isn't working either.

please paste in your CSS

div {
height: 60px;
width: 100px;
border-radius: 5px;
background-color: #69D2E7;
text-align: center;
color: #FFFFFF;
font-family: Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif;
opacity: 0.5;

what is your html code?

I had to remove every < because otherwise it wouldn't show the code (commenting out isn't working).
Normally every < bracket is there...

title>Button Magic /title>
link rel='stylesheet' type='text/css' href='stylesheet.css'/>
script> type="text/javascript"; src="script.js"
Click Me!

Code looks fine try another browser

Thanks! Didn't work though. I commented out opacity: 0.5 in the CSS and was able to move on with that course.
Not an ideal solution but better than being stuck.
