Display on Mac

I can’t get the webpage output to display properly. All I get (on my huge screen) is about an inch high display of how the webpage would look. This happened throughout all Javascript exercises, and now Ruby on Rails too. Can’t see how to change it.

Any suggestions???

I am talking about the size of the web display on the right hand size.
