Display < > inside paragraph

#1

Hi. How can I display < and > inside a paragraph? I’ve tried this inside the paragraph:

" < a > "

but it doesn’t seem to work. All that appears is “”

Thank you in advance,
Solange

well, as you have <> have special meaning in web, so just displaying them isn’t easy. You could use there special html code:

<>

prove:
<>

that will work, but then you have to remember or google there ascii value all the time:

thankfully, for greater then and lesser then the following shorthands exist:

<>

prove:
<>
