Difficulty with font-size for header

#1

Why it saying "It looks like your header's font-size is 32px instead of 16px." When my code is "h1 style="color:green; font -size:16px""

#2

because you have a space between font and -size

for next time, use one of the two following options to make your code/indent is visible: (made be easier next time)

select your code and press ctrl + shift + c (or cmd + shift + c if you use a mac)

if this instructions are unclear, you can also insert 3 backticks before and after your code, like so:

```
<p>visible</p>
```

the backtick is located above the tab key on your keyboard

I had that problem too, and I hadn't left a space between font and -size.

I found the only way to make it work for me was to retype the code -including the style attribute- and delete the original line.

Was I missing something else?

#4

That depends, you still have the old code which wasn't working?

#5

I don't know; I've passed that page now and finished the section without any more difficulty.

I have a feeling I was initially leaving a gap between the font-size number and the px, Like so:

<h1 style="color:green; font-size: 16 px"

which was maybe causing my problem. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong.

Thanks for any help.

#6

yea, the gap between 16 and px is wrong, 16px is one argument, it can't take any spaces, so that caused the problem, of course, retyping the entire thing can help
