Difference std vector std string vector c++

Hello,

as the headline says: This is about “vectors” in “C++”.

I’ve completed that part but still wonder why sometimes it is written:

std::cout

and sometimes

std::cout std::int

Thanks a lot,
Fabian

There seems to be a bit going on here, so I’m not quiet sure I understand exactly what you are asking.

Are you asking about the difference between a vector and a vector of strings?
Could you give a code example of what you are asking?

std::cout is used to write output to the console, however I have never heard of a std::int. The C++ integer type is inherited from C and is simply int. Do you have an example of code using a std::int?
