Hello everyone. I am working on "CSS: An Overview Lesson 26 Links and text decoration" I have tried everything I can think of and just can't get past this error message "Oops, try again. Did you remember to set your link's text-decoration to none;?"

I have read the other post on this subject and nothing has made a difference. Your help would be appreciated.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html><link="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css" />
	<head>
		<title>Result</title>
	</head>
	<body>
	<a href="www.rantingandroaming.com">Link to Ranting and Roaming</a>
	</body>
</html>

a {
color:#cc0000;
text-decoration:none;
}

You didn't link it right to the stylesheet.css.

to link between index.html and stylesheet.css you need to type:

<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css" />

so you just need to add the word "type" after the word "link"

You were right. I added the word 'type' and that did it. Thanks for your help.
