I think the definition of best is different for everyone, if you are comfortable while using it and know handful of tips, tricks and shortcuts to achieve what you want, may be you already have your best tool. Figma is definitely beginner friendly and I love using it.
If there’s something that other apps are too good at there’s no harm in using them.
for me I’m not really into designing and enjoy development part of it, instead of designing from scratch, I try to mimic others design just to see if I’m good enough to do so. I find it best way to learn development faster.
It’s dependent on your use case and personal preferences, but there are a ton of tools out there with different features. I’d search for “ui ux tools” or something along those lines and compare different ones.
Common ones include Figma (as you mentioned), Adobe XD, and InVision. I personally like to do quick sketches by hand with pen and paper to brainstorm and for overall layout, then use Figma to go in-detail and start prototyping.
