What languages, tools, frameworks to use to develop really simple time tracker that just takes screenshots and keyboard/mouse activity and uploads to server?

Start/stop button and keyboard shortcut and list of projects to choose on what you work. And stop working when idle for 3-5 minutes. Like TimeDoctor.com and WebWorkTracker.com that we use currently but we really use it’s already mentioned functionality and not really use rest of it’s functionality and we would prefer all the data in our DB so we are considering to develop our own.

Sniffer technology in the workplace requires accountability and transparency. Employers are allowed to do it but the employee must be informed. Sophisticated software of this nature is not the sort of thing introduced or taught here at Codecademy. Can you imagine such software in the hands of a script kiddie?
