CSS Selector Lesson 15

#1

I keep getting the following error. "Did you remember to add at least 3 links? I think they are there and correct. Please advise.

CSS code page looks like this:
a:link{
text-decoration: none;
color: #008B45;
}
a:hover{
color: #00FF00;
}
a:visited{
color: #EE9A00;
}

#2

if you edit/update your question, leave a reply so i get a notification. Your code html is not visible, take the following steps to make your code visible:

select your code and press ctrl + k (or cmd + k if you use a mac)

if this instructions are unclear, you can also insert 3 backticks before and after your code, like so:

```
<p>visible</p>
```

the backtick is located above the tab key on your keyboard

#3

visible

#4

<p>visible</p> just an example, if you only have code in a post, you can also do ctrl + a (select all) followed by ctrl + k (indent, this will make it visible)

#5

<p> visible </p>

#6

nope, still not visible

#7

#8

:link, :visited and :hover are css pseudo classes, they belong in css, not in html. and i would put some text between <a> and </a> so there is something to click at

#9

Added the site name after the link and took out the pseudo and am still getting the error

#10

Figured it out. One too many :
