CSS An Overview 9

#1

The second paragraph contains text between tags. Set the background-color of that to 'yellow'. (See the Hint for help!)

what can i do??

#2

Could you please write your code here ?

#3

`p2 {

}`

I have only this because i don't know what to write

#4

well, if you have a html element:

<p></p>

the css selector is the opening tag (<p>) without the greater and lesser sign, so for a paragraph the css selector is p, the exercise has these instructions for you:
The second paragraph contains text between <span></span> tags. Set the background-color of that <span> to 'yellow'

so you need to set a color for span, what do you think the css selector is?

#5

i thought p2 because it is paragraph two

#6

which would mean you have a <p2></p2> html element which is not a valid html element. Did you figure it out?

#7

sorry i don't understand

#8

p {
background-color: yellow;

i have this now

#9

your second paragraphs has <span></span> tags which you need to target, use the correct css selector to target the span tags
