Creating arrays from numbers in file

I have a txt file which looks like this:

7;0
10;1
11;3,2
8;2,2
11;1
12;1
14;1
16;0
16;1
6;2
7;0
10;0
10;4
7;5
9;4
15;0,4
18;0,4
16;0
14;0
...

So each line consists of an integer number, a semicolon and a floating point number.
I want to make 2 arrays (or a 2-dimensional array); in first there will be stored integer numbers, and in second there will be stored the second, float number.

I tried this:

        string[] lines = System.IO.File.ReadAllLines(@"C:\Users\Public\TestFolder\WriteLines2.txt");

But after I have an array of strings containing each line of my file, I have no idea how to proceed.

hi @ruby7470165098

is the solution you’re looking for? Or otherwise.

I think from where you’re at the moment, you just need to understand a few things by its nature;

  1. Arrays
  2. Parsing ( Conversion from string to number types )
  3. Conditioning ( Check whether a specific character exist within the string statement )

Hope this helps in anyways.
