Create Your First Local HTML/CSS Project

Hi I am currently completing the lesson where we use text editors to make our own website. I keep trying to not get any white margins between my top banner, top of the webpage and rest of the page. I was hoping someone can assist me with this.

This is the link to the lesson I am doing: https://www.codecademy.com/journeys/full-stack-engineer/paths/fscj-22-web-development-foundations/tracks/fscj-22-developing-websites-locally/modules/wdcp-22-getting-started-with-text-editors-d692b807-2dc0-440b-afb9-409a1b1e4550/articles/f1-u2-create-first-prj
The instructor uses this thing called Gritty that looks like a mascot or a muppet, so I chose mine to be Elmo lol.
Here is my html code:

Elmo's World

Elmo's World

Elmo dressed in a suit at the tonight show format

Subscribe to me hehehe

<div>
    <h2>Elmo</h2>
    <p>Social media dedicated to Elmo because who doesn't want more Elmo?</p>
    <form action="">
        <input type="text"/>
        <input type="submit" value="Submit">
    </form>

</div>

Here is my css code:
.banner {
background-color: #d2042d;
color: White;
margin-top: 0;
text-align: center;

}
#small-elmo {
height: 200px;
width: 200px;
Thank you!
}

Try setting all margins at 0 and then override them in your css by putting custom margins on each element :
*{
margin: 0;
}

element{
margin : 20px
}

don’t forget to inspect the page to see what is that white space
