Course says this works but there's no way to print the else statement

#1

This passes but the else statements don't print... just goes to the default:

var user = prompt("What is your name?");
switch(user) {
case 'Sue':
if(user && 'Sue') {
console.log("How do you do!");
}
else {
console.log("Where's Sue?");
}
break;
case 'Pamela':
if(user || 'Pamela') {
console.log("Are you from Alabama?");
}
else {
console.log("No! I'm from Colorado!");
}
break;
case 'Jennifer':
console.log("How's the weather?");
break;
default:
console.log("You're not my sister!");
}

#2

Looks like you need to read up on what the operators && and || do.
