Course Path for Javascript and Web Devlop

Tryin again at age 63. Not too long ago I tried HTML, CSS and JS and learned a lot, and most beginner JS stuff,
I need to narrow it down and pick a path - Front End Engineer sounds a little easy and its 350 hours long! Several things I’ve done before 4-5 years ago when I was amped up to do this.

Or…, Create a Front End App with React sounds Challenging and gets to the good stuff (React) maybe faster and the syllabus sounds more of what I would like to do. Maybe too difficult? Running out of time?

Its just that on the Front End Dev course, do I really need to spend all that time on HTML and CSS?

If you don’t have a market for these new skills then it is a hobby. Like me, accept that and enjoy exploring.
