Conclusion. 28 part 2! IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE

Getting started with Programming: 28. Conclusion part 2

It just keeps saying "Oops, try again. It looks like you didn't log the correct string to the console! Make sure to use exactly the string shown." and I'm getting very frustrated.

var myName="James";
if ("James">3)
{
    console.log("I finished my first course!");
    }
else
{
        console.log("Try again bud");
    }

#2

Well you could just switch the console.log statements

#3

Oh.... That's stupid of me. Thank you!

#4

Nay, your good! It is easy to over look stuff like that when your frustrated. Happy to help! :smiley: Good luck on Coding Your On Adventure!

#5

Greetings,

I have a similar issue that is persistent! I hope you can steer me in the right direction!

#6

Certainly let me just pull up my code and what not! :smiley:

#7

Ok so basically you have the exact same problem as the previous dude. You could either A.) change the if statement to be true thus running your first console.log or B.) just switch the console.log statements around

#8

Hey, thanks for the reply! It seems I have the same issue when swapping them.

#9

Hmmmm it passed for me. Maybe try refreshing your browser or copying and pasting mine in

var myName="SomeName";
if ("SomeName">3)
{
    console.log("I failed to finish the course");
    }
else
{
        console.log("I finished my first course!");
    }

Yeah, thanks for the info! Now it works

Could have been just a bug, who knows...
