This is what it says, am I just being plain dumb? SyntaxError: Expected ';'
Thanks guys :sweat_smile:

We can't see what you put there.

But you forgot an ending semicolon.

#3

("Jon".length / (2+1)) 0 )
if
{
console.log("The answer makes sense!");
}
else
{
console.log("Error Error Error!");
}

Sorry should have put this in, I can see I am missing one, but cant see where. Thanks for replying :slight_smile:

#4

Have a look at this^
And then review the lesson on if statement

The syntax should look something like this:

if(condition){
//something
}

#5

Thanks for the reply :slight_smile:
I'm still having the same problem though, it says that I am missing a semi colon. I just cant figure out where?!

if("Jon".length / (2+1)) 0 ){
console.log("The answer makes sense!");
}
else
{
console.log("Error Error Error!");
}

Is the above what you meant, I tried to fix it but sill didn't work.

#6

Unbalanced parenthesis.

#7

if("Jon".length / (2+1) === 1)
{
console.log("The answer makes sense!");
}
else
{
console.log("Error Error Error!");
}

Thanks for the help, done it now and thinking that I was so stupid lol
