Completed React-Reddit Project - reddArt

Hello Coders!

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve just completed the Reddit project as part of the Full-Stack course! It has been an incredible learning journey. I decided to build the project using the Next.js framework to dive into TypeScript, which presented some exciting challenges.

This is reddArt, a reddit client that focuses on Art:

One of the biggest issues was getting the Reddit API working, which took about a week to figure out. I also spent a considerable amount of time adding a smooth Zoom in/out transition to the image gallery—definitely worth the effort, but it was tricky! (It only works smoothly in Chrome, so it’s disabled on other browsers).

Feel free to check out the project:

I plan to continue refining this project, especially when it comes to responsive design and performance.

I’m also currently facing a challenging issue that I’ve documented on the repo, which I’ve been struggling with for over a week. If anyone with more experience can lend a hand, I’d truly appreciate your help!

Best regards,
Jonathan Cano
