Hello, I just finished mine. Its a grunge style-inspired aesthetic. The content is nonsense because I was just going for aesthetic and functionality with flexbox.
Hi there!
Spent way too much time on this… I learned that design is way too hard. Also changed things around so many times and still doesn’t look good but I need to give it up, leave it as is and keep progressing through the course or else I won’t ever finish it.
Here are my github repository and my live demo.
Cheers!
This looks really nice! So original I like it.
The design is so nice!
Really nice! I like the hover effects and the transitions on the banner. And its responsive!
However, I did notice that there are quite a few div elements in your HTML. Do you think it might be more effective to use semantic tags like header and section in some areas?
Nothing to do with effectiveness. It would make the markup more ‘expressive’, but that does not carry a lot of weight in terms of the content quality and presentation. User agents such as screen readers and search engines might assign importance according to how well the document presents in outline form, but on the whole, we should not put too much stress on ‘semantic tags’ as improving markup beyond readability. Structure trumps choice of elements.
Ahhhh I feel like mine’s so boring compared to everyone else’s here all I did was try to make my own lookalike version of the Gymshark homepage
Taking the win though as this took me a good week and I did learn a lot more about flexbox by doing this project
Live: Gymshark Official Store
Code: GitHub - enzodia1908/gymshark-homepage-lookalike: Flexbox Business Site Project / Company Home Page with Flexbox
this is awesome!! super creative
Hey guys,
Im using this opportunity to take this project very seriously. Im actually working towards completely rebuilding and redesigning the website used by a local brewery. This is something that will be consistently built upon as I advance through this full stack course on codecademy. The potential is there, all thats needed is to put in the time everyday. Heres the front end of my landing page so far. Very basic user experience so far.

Hi people. This is the completed website for this challenge. For a newbie, I think I tried my best. It was honestly hard to do it all myself and challenge myself on the concepts I have learned in the course so far. I tried to be original. I look forward to your reviews.
Hello there. Here is my humble work. Please come along with comments which will be highly appreciated.

See ya!
This is so cool. and the responsiveness is so neat.
That navigation bar is really cool! I really liked the effect that the dashed border leaves after the solid one disappears.
Ty! I liked your design too. It has a very fresh vibe
