Ugh, it took me 5 days to figure out and finish this project. With simple rectangulars in lessons, everything looked easy, but with the project, I faced many issues which needed to be resolved with the help of Google, forums, and so on. I used a lot of flex inside flex and flex inside grid.
These resources Flex Box Game and Grid Game helped me a lot at the beginning.
Super funny and creative! It looks awesome, however the design isn’t fully responsive. If you make the screen size smaller, the team members section does not adjust to the screen size and overflows
Thank you for the feedback, I saw the issue and adjusted the team members overflow to hidden and the flexbox is now a column. Unfortunately, I still haven’t reached the GitHub part of the training and commits and pushes are a bit difficult for me still
I’d really appreciate some feedback, both about the code and with regards to how to responds to smaller screens. I tried for days to get the footer to extend the whole width of the screen when on a phone screen, but I could not figure it out. Any and all feedback is appreciated!!
Hello! For this project, I created a fake art gallery company called Moonimo (named after my two cats Mooni and Mochi!). I took most of my inspiration from the website of an actual art gallery called Mooni that I stumbled upon while searching for some company name and concept ideas. I don’t know how to link my webpage like everyone else, but I have a screenshot of it in my README file on my GitHub. Please let me know what you think!
I decided to build a website to show all of my exercise and project solutions. I am adding to this constantly as I work through the course. It’s a WIP so some styles aren’t quite working yet. You can se this by clicking the Paprback logo on the linked site.
This is what I’ve come up with for my company home page project: GitHub repo, and live demo.
I see a lot of other people were able to make better-looking websites than mine. I may have used too much whitespace, and too little content. I also didn’t want to run afoul of copyright laws, so I didn’t steal images from any internet search engine, except for the NASA images I used for backgrounds, and the social media icons that everyone else uses on their sites.
