Hey, I dont know if this is the correct forum to ask it in as i am kinda new but i have a question.
So finally a Codecademy Go is available on newer androids and I am verry happy about it, but is there any way how to download some chapters from let say front-end-engineering course to be able to learn also OFFLINE? I was reading, in the post from 2018, that it is somehow possible to do but I just cant figure how? The thing is I am working in aviation so I dont have any internet connection at my airline while I am at work and sometimes there is really nothing to do so I would like to use that time to learn/review chapters. Any ideas on how to download it?
As far as I know, no you cannot download lessons from courses. You need a laptop or desktop to do the lessons so you can run the code in the learning environment.
That blog post is out of date. Even back in that version, you couldn’t “download” content per se, it just had a recent cache of content like review cards. Now that we use AI to generate the packs, it needs an Internet connection. To Lisa’s point, most of our content relies on being online, shame as that is with your airline work making that difficult.
I’m glad you like the new app, though! Appreciate your reaching out!
