Clearing the footer

#1

Hi guys! I'm looking for some help. I suspect the problem is in my HTML but no idea where. Any thoughts? Thank you!

I'm stuck here:
https://www.codecademy.com/courses/web-beginner-en-9x6JW-WnAFv/0/6?curriculum_id=50579fb998b470000202dc8b

I'm receiving this error message:
Did you remember to set your #footer to clear:both?

Here's my code:

div {
    border-radius: 5px:
    height: 200px;
    width: 400px;
    background-color: #00a18a;

}
#header {
    position: fixed;
    z-index: 1;
    background-color: blue;

.left {
    border-radius: 5px:
    background-color:red;
    height: 25px;
    width: 20%;
    float: left;
}

}

#footer {
    border-radius: 5px:
    clear: both;
}

.right {
    border-radius: 5px;
    background-color: green;
    height: 25px;
    width: 20%;
    float: right;
}

AND HERE IS MY HTML:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css"/>
		<title></title>
	</head>
	<body>
	<div id=header>HEY</div>
	<div class=left>WOW</div>
	<div class=right>LET'S</div>
	<div id=footer>GO</div>

	</body>
</html>

You should close your header before .left remove extra closing bracket after .left

#3

Thank you!! I entered that closing curly bracket and am still receiving that error. Could I have another issue as well?

#4

What's your error and updated code please

#5

I got it - it was a : not a ; after 5px. Thank you so much for your help tonight!
