print 'Welcome to the Pig Latin Translator!'

Start coding here!

raw_input("shubham")
original = raw_input("shubham")
if len(original) > 0
print "shubham"
else :
print "empty"

it is showing error
oops did you accidently delete variable called original .
i am not getting where i am wrong .

You have a few things wrong

You need a colon ( : ) on the end

You can get rid of this completely

This is what I believe the error is referring to. This is wrong because it wants you to print the variable original which you defined here:

original = raw_input("shubham")

In the console, it will let you enter a word, and whatever word you enter will be original.

I'm not sure if you know how the raw_input() function really works?
Whatever string that you pass into the raw_input() function will be printed as a sort of instruction, but it doesn't matter what string you pass it. I used something like "Please enter a word"
