At first I was able to submit the code with and interactive window, but no way to input and that I did not solve the exercise. Now its saying that my code worked and I solved the exercise yet there is no interactivity and the output window says
"Welcome to the Pyg Latin Translator!
Enter a word
None"
within the window. Did I do it right?

Replace this line with your code.
print 'Welcome to the Pyg Latin Translator!'
raw_input = ("Enter a word")

original = raw_input
if len(original) > 0:
    print original
else:
    print 'empty'

You will need to restart the (page refresh) the lesson to restore the raw_input function. We never assign to a function name, else that overwrites the function itself.

original = raw_input(" ... ")

#3

that didnt really solve anything

#4

Does this unit have a "What we'll be building" in the first lesson?

#5
