I've tried this part about a hundred times, and I'm not sure what's wrong. I'm getting an error message that says I can't take the length of original.

Replace this line with your code.

#2

The error you've been given is misleading. It looks like lines 4 and 5 are the problem here. raw_input() is a function that takes one parameter, a string. You would store a user's input to a variable with a single line like this: userValue = raw_input("Value? ")

#3

In your error, Python is saying that your variable original has no length to it (because there's nothing stored in it except raw_input). They're not counting the length of raw_input, that's a function. To fix this, compare the way you typed: raw_input("Enter a word:") on line 4, with the: raw_input on line 5 of your code. You forgot to type some things after your raw_input on line 5.
